Who we are

We're Bibamba, a Colorado-based chocolate company located in Edgewater Public Market. We make our chocolate from scratch using cacao grown on our family farm in Cameroon, where we prioritize ethical and sustainable farming practices.

We're growing our corporate gifting business and preparing to introduce new chocolate products for restaurants, coffee shops, and other food service businesses. There's a lot of opportunity ahead, and we're looking for someone who can help us build relationships and turn that opportunity into sales.

What we're looking for

We're looking for a self-driven, personable sales professional with experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer relationship management to help grow two areas of our business: corporate gifting and food service.

You'll develop a strategy for reaching potential customers, connect with decision-makers, follow up on leads, deliver samples, and build relationships that lead to sales. We have existing leads and partnerships with local businesses and event planners, and we need someone who can take the initiative and turn those connections into customers.

What you'll do

Strategy & Prospecting

  • Develop and execute an outreach strategy for corporate gifting and food service customers
  • Identify potential customers, research decision-makers, and tailor outreach to their needs
  • Develop new prospects and prioritize opportunities

Outreach & Follow-up

  • Reach out by email, phone, in person, and other appropriate channels
  • Follow up with existing leads and prospective customers
  • Coordinate and deliver chocolate samples
  • Follow up on samples and send proposals or quotes as appropriate to help move prospects toward a purchase

Relationship Building & Sales

  • Build relationships with HR teams, event planners, office managers, restaurant owners, coffee shop operators, and other relevant contacts
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of leads, conversations, follow-ups, and sales. Track results and identify which outreach strategies are generating business.
  • Learn our products, production capabilities, and brand story so you can speak confidently with customers
  • Visit our Edgewater location every 1-2 weeks to connect with the team, pick up samples, and learn more about our products and production process

What makes you a good fit

  • Proactive & Independent: You take initiative, identify opportunities, and come up with practical ways to reach potential customers without waiting to be told what to do. You're organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own schedule and priorities.
  • Friendly & professional: You're personable, professional, and friendly. You're comfortable representing a growing chocolate brand and building trust with decision-makers.
  • Persistent and reliable: You follow up consistently, keep track of conversations, and make sure opportunities don't fall through the cracks.
  • Resourceful: You can research prospects, develop outreach strategies, and figure out how to get a conversation started. You know how to tailor messaging to different audiences rather than sending generic pitches.
  • Results-driven: You're motivated to turn outreach into sales and can track what's working and adjust your approach.
  • Local: You live in the Denver area and can visit our Edgewater location and local customers as needed. Must have reliable transportation for occasional sample deliveries and in-person meetings

Nice to haves:

  • A degree or training in sales, business, or marketing
  • Existing relationships with corporate gifting buyers, HR or operations teams, event planners, or food service businesses

Pay & growth opportunity

This is a 1099 independent contractor role with a commission-based compensation structure: 15% of sales, plus a flat monthly rate for the first two months to help you get started.

We'll begin with an initial two-month period to establish the approach, build a pipeline, and start generating sales. If it's a good fit and the business grows, there's potential to transition into a larger sales role with expanded responsibilities.
